Elder Conservatorium of Music |
Diploma of Music (Sound Engineering)SATAC Code: 316101 (note: mid-year entry may be available) Duration: 1 year (full-time) Specific Admission Requirements: Interview Assumed Knowledge: Familiarity with computer systems and software, music sofware and hardware, or SACE Stage 1 Music (or equivalent) This program provides a challenging and stimulating learning environment where all students will develop skills in the area of sound engineering and music technology. This includes studio and live sound engineering, desktop audio and MIDI production, sound for media and industry forums. The program provides a thorough grounding through Specialist, General and Core Studies. See the homepage of the Electronic Music Unit.
