Diploma of Instrumental MusicThe Diploma of Instrumental Music is a two year course available on a part-time basis only to suitably advanced classical performance students who are enrolled concurrently in another undergraduate degree program at the University of Adelaide. Students may need to extend their studies over an extra year to accomodate the requirements of the performance sequence. The Diploma is awarded only after all requirements of the primary degree program have been satisfactorily completed, regardless of the actual completion date for the Diploma. As with any of the programs offered by the Conservatorium, an audition is required before selections are made. The main round of auditions in December would normally be utilised although if a late round of auditions is held early in February, that will not be too late. Applicants must submit the audition application form to the Conservatorium. Applications are made directly to the Conservatorium using the relevant form. The closing date is mid- February each year. |
