Elder Conservatorium of Music

Lucinda CollinsBMus(Hons)(Adel), ARCM Lucinda Collins studied at the Elder Conservatorium of Music, University of Adelaide, with Noreen Stokes and Stefan Ammer. In 1984 she took up the prestigious Elder Overseas Scholarship to further her studies in London at the Royal College of Music under the guidance of Peter Wallfisch. Winner of the Hephzibah Menuhin Scholarship and the ASKM National Bicentennial Piano Competition, Lucinda has performed extensively throughout Australia and has also given concerts in the UK and Korea. She has appeared on national television as well as giving numerous performances on ABC radio. As a concert soloist she has performed under the batons of David Porcelijn, John Harding and William Hennessy. Lucinda has participated in both the Adelaide and Barrossa Festivals, given numerous recitals for the Australian Society for Keyboard Music and, as a chamber musician performed with many distinguished artists. In July 2001 Lucinda was invited to adjudicate the Malaysian National Piano Competition in Kuala Lumpur, also giving herself successful masterclassess during her short visit. |
