The Elder Conservatorium of Music has one of Australia's largest and most vibrant communities of postgraduate studies in music. Most current students are enrolled as candidates for one of our research degrees: the Master of Music degree; or the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.

Either of these research degrees can be completed with a specialisation in one of the following:

  • Ethnomusicology/Musicology
  • Music Composition
  • Music Education
  • Music Performance
  • Music Technology

For information sheets about any of these specialisations, consult the Master of Music or Doctor of Philosophy links above.
